Palmers Longhouse is one entire barn listed as two separate properties ('Candra' and 'Alex Tor'). These two properties can be opened up as one full property, sleeping 6 adults in two double bedrooms and one double sofa bed. Half of the property is accessible for disabled persons, it has one kitchen and one kitchenette, a dining area, living area and two bathrooms. It is located on a working farm in beautiful St. Breward on Bodmin Moor.
Palmer's Longhouse is a perfect getaway in the heart of the beautiful Cornish Moorland.
Dynerghi (welcome in Cornish)!
The Longhouse was converted from a working barn over 15 years ago. It comprises of a beautiful dining and living area with high beamed ceilings, an up-to-date kitchen, two bathrooms (one with disabled facilities), and two bedrooms.
Palmer's Farm is a working farm set in an ideal location on the edge of a lovely village called St. Breward, right on the North East of Bodmin Moor.
Palmer's Farm benefits from the beautiful views of Cornwall's Tors and is only a short drive from Cornwall's highest points (Alex Tor and Brown Willy), however despite this it benefits from being just 10-15 minutes from Cornwall's main artery, the A30 and just 15 minutes from Cornwall's North Coast. Despite it's remote setting on the edge of St. Breward, Palmers Farm is in a perfect situation, with the farm boundaries going right up to the Moorland cattle grids, yet being just a ten minute walk from the local Inn and Restaurant and the local shop. This creates a lovely balance of a 'retreat' feel to your holiday, whilst being close to local amenities and not too far off the beaten track.
Palmer's Farm is a working farm, so guests will enjoy seeing various wildlife and farmyard animals milling around in any of the 55+ acres of land that surrounds The Longhouse.
The Longhouse comprises of two separate cottages which are entirely closed off from each other. These can both be rented and opened up if both cottages are rented together.
Pet friendly and disabled friendly, it is a perfect spot to bring your family for a break to the UK's south west gem, Cornwall.
